MEERA SABEH —
I can juggle, I speak a lot of languages at least a little, my right ear has flat cartilage, I am ambidextrous and ambitious, I am a huge fan of solving things, I tell myself I’m good at math and have a tattoo to prove it, Sagittarius sun, I like to skate any way possible, I take advantage of the comma, and I love to laugh.
Now that the important stuff is out of the way: I was formerly the Creative Director at Content Lab, a creative marketing agency. I thrive in communication and I flourish through photography, filmmaking, writing, culture, television, entertainment, and anything & everything in between.
This is my website and my personal brand. By virtue of this endeavor, though confusing and convoluted, I get the opportunity to see my thoughts conceptualized in front of me. This is both a diary and a portfolio; a boss and a colleague; a vehicle and a home.
let me catch you up…
— I was formerly the Creative Director / Senior Creative Strategist at Content Lab, a creative marketing startup agency. I led all creative endeavors — whether that involved creative ideations with clients to create successful campaigns, or writing and editing TikTok videos for influencers.
— I previously completed a development internship at That’s Wonderful Productions (Jim Parsons’ & Todd Spiewak’s production company). It involved script/book/play coverage, administrative tasks, and some secretarial work in between. It was a lot of fun.
— A lot of my time at school was spent working for BUTV10. I produced live coverage of sports games and also wrote and filmed scripted fiction content. Most recently, I edited part of the station’s live election coverage and wrote for an upcoming variety special.
— I bought a new camera last summer. Still, for years with an awful camera, I’ve taken beautiful photos of my friends for fun and for Off The Cuff (a really cool fashion magazine.)
— My greatest college engagement was being a part of The Callbacks. My world was & is improv and sketch comedy. Not only did this group push me to become a better comedian, writer, and creator, but it helped me build character through the trials and tribulations of Student Activities Leadership in college.
— Since I started college I somehow found myself working as an events media technician. It brought me all over campus during any and all hours of the day. I did a few cool things like help Vanessa Bayer and Colin Jost with their soundchecks. Now I am a great technician. Carrying heavy things also made me very strong.
